The Tablet Application
The tablet application utilizes high-resolution, high-brightness tablets to deliver high-definition 3D synthetic vision and moving maps. Key features include:
Flight Planning: Define your flight plan, see airspaces and frequencies, and enjoy a simplified glass cockpit interface.
Advanced AHRS System:
Precision heading and positioning using Dual-GNSS with:
Horizontal accuracy: 0.05 km/h.
Vertical accuracy: 2.5 cm/s.
Integrated IMU achieves remarkable heading accuracy of 0.05 degrees.
Real-time wind strength and direction calculations with 0.1 km/h accuracy.
Extremely accurate vertical speed measurements.
TEMP Logger: Continuously analyzes temperature, humidity, and pressure to predict the best external energy sources.
This system helps you make reliable decisions about your gliding distance, even in case of engine failure.
The Smartphone Application
The smartphone application enhances usability both in and out of flight:
On the ground: Displays fuel or battery levels, engine parameters, and a detailed flight log (pilot, time, duration, and track).
In-flight: Enables real-time flight tracking through the ALPHAFROG Cloud.
The Board Computer
The board computer serves as a backup navigation system (OpenVario) or the main ALPHAFROG system when necessary.
Core functionalities:

Fuel range and aircraft logbook.
Emergency Assistance:
Activates a glide assistant, showing the nearest reachable airports based on altitude and wind conditions.
The ALPHAFROG Box
The ALPHAFROG Box integrates all critical aircraft systems, including:
Radio, transponder, and atmospheric sensors.
Lidar and collision avoidance systems (ADS-B In/Out, FLARM).
Light system and engine monitoring.
It ensures seamless connectivity across software platforms, enhancing flight safety and efficiency.
To better understand the capabilities of the ALPHAFROG G1 you need to understand, that the system is designed to deliver a so-called software defi ned flying experience. This means, that the way you interact with your aircraft not only uses the controls as we know them for more than a century, neither the glass cockpit style avionics providing you map, navigation, air spaces, radio, traffic (ADS-B, Flarm) and so on but with the G1 you receive basically three pieces of software that work together.
